A little about who I am, why I started coaching, and what drives my approach.
Hi, I'm Marvin
I'm a software engineer with experience building backend systems at high-growth tech companies. Over the years, I've interviewed at dozens of companies — and I've also been on the other side, helping hire engineers as an interviewer.
I started Marvin SDE Coaching because I noticed a huge gap: engineers who were genuinely talented were failing interviews not because of knowledge gaps, but because of preparation gaps. The interview process is a learnable skill — and I'm here to teach it.
When I'm not coaching, I'm usually working on side projects, contributing to open source, or exploring the latest in distributed systems. I believe great engineers never stop learning — and the best coaching reflects that mindset.
